The Biota R&D Laboratories is an R&D Center approved by the Ministry of Science, Industry, and Technology, operating in the fields of cosmetics, dermocosmetics, and dietary supplements.
Our center works with specialists in their respective fields, including chemical and food engineers, chemists, botanists, and molecular biologists, among other experts from various professions. Our Scientific Committee, composed of academics from Turkey's leading universities, regularly provides services to our R&D Center. The Medical Department within our R&D Center conducts clinical studies, as well as efficacy and safety testing processes. All licensing activities are also carried out within the R&D Center.
The Biota R&D Center operates across 800 m² with six independent laboratories, including a Cell Culture Laboratory, Plant Research Center, Cosmetic Product Development Laboratory, Dietary Supplement Laboratory, Instrumental Analysis Laboratory, Packaging R&D Laboratory, and Product Performance Laboratories. The center is equipped with advanced infrastructure, including analytical devices such as HPLC-MS-MS, GC-MS, and in the field of molecular biology, devices like Real-Time PCR and DNA-RNA protein imaging systems.
New product development projects are conducted at this center through TÜBİTAK projects and collaborations with universities. Our center also contributes to international scientific journals, and presents posters and presentations at conferences.
